Maine is still struggling with the weather

Mark Michaud Report– Southern Maine is still struggling with the weather, but Mark is anticipating a good turn-out for a new meeting that will kick-off this week in York, Maine. Also, he says many associates from the area travelled to New Hampshire for the Super Saturday featuring Alex Franqui of Weston, Florida.
Many years ago, before I founded Pre-Paid Legal Services, I worked with a man who taught me an important lesson about business and salesmanship. While many agents took the road with the intention of “helping” people, he was inclined to say, “How can I ‘hope’ people?” Some say he had an inside track to success. I believe he created an inside track by offering hope to people in need. It’s a good way to look at our offering today.

Pre-Paid Legal Services

December is the best time of the year to recruit people for your team in Pre-Paid Legal. During the holidays, people realize quite bluntly what their financial situation is, and they look forward to changing it with their upcoming New Year?s resolutions. What we have found is they would rather not wait . . .and that the top earners in PPL have figured this out. If you ask any Ring Earner, they will say they have stepped up their recruiting in December each year, and gained momentum in their business growth. December is half over, but there is time to step yours up! Brian Carruthers is a great example of this. He says he always worked hard up until Christmas day grabbing all the recruits he could so he would go into the new year with momentum and have a head start on everyone. And this is one of the reasons he feels he earns over a million dollars a year with PPL. Brian challenged every Associate this month to go for it, and to try to do what he does by getting at least FIVE recruits themselves in December for the month. ("I got my 5 Club" - names of those who did it so far listed on Pre-Paid Legal website) "What could 5 new recruits mean to your business?" was asked of Brian. His answer "Knowing that you may be just one good recruit away from a financial explosion, and that recruit may be your next, or the second, or the fifth . . . getting some new people on board is critical. By recruiting in waves, not only can you dangle the carrot and build depth with five people in that line - which causes excitement, but having multiple people joining at once gives you the position of strength where you don?t come across like you NEED your one recruit. It causes action, and that brings results." Brian also says to think about a simple idea that "if you can recruit three key stars (in 3 separate legs), you can be set for life. If you have 3 legs with a super leader in each, each making their full time living as an ED or above in Pre-Paid Legal . . . you would be Gold ED and you could maintain a super lifestyle with that! So your intent from day one should be to recruit, recruit, recruit to build your team until you find these three leaders. Then develop them until solid . . .until you are set for life!" It all starts with right now. Set a simple goal of just five new recruits this month and get on the "I GOT MY 5" list. Anyone can, everyone should. At $72, it will never be easier! Just hold a meeting, invite to briefings, follow up on the DVD?s, and do 3-way calls. You can, will you?

What would happen if something suddenly happened to you

Who Will Take Care of Your Favorite Things?
Do you have an heirloom that you want to keep in the family? Are you a pet owner? What would happen to your favorite things if something suddenly happened to you?
These can be thought-provoking questions to ask during discussions with prospective members. Are they wondering how the benefits of Pre-Paid Legal plans are relevant to their lives when it comes to taking care of their treasured pets, people, places and things?
You can remind them that if they don’t have an executed Will, according to the American Bar Association (ABA), a state’s law of descent and distribution can determine who receives the property by default, meaning items may not end up with a recipient of their choosing.
An executed Will provides for the desired distribution of property at the time of the owner’s death. This is subject to the forced headship laws of some states that prevent disinheriting a spouse and in some cases, children. A Will cannot govern the disposition of properties that pass outside a probated estate (such as certain joint property, life insurance, retirement plans and employee death benefits) unless they are payable to the deceased person’s estate.
As you can see, creating and finalizing a Will can be confusing and complicated. The preparation of a Will by a qualified attorney - instead of depending on an office supply store kit or a forms website - can be extremely beneficial and make the process understandable.
If your prospective member has children, in addition to letting any final wishes be known, there are other objectives that can be accomplished in a Will. The person can designate a guardian for any minor child(ren) if he or she has survived the other parent and potentially eliminate the need for bonds and supervision by the court regarding the care of each minor child’s estate. Guardianship of a beloved pet can also be decided in a Will.
Finally, you can remind them that a Pre-Paid Legal membership includes preparation of a Will and an annual review at no additional cost. A spouse can have a Will prepared for a small additional cost.
Our Provider Law Firms are ready to help ensure a Pre-Paid Legal member’s final wishes are both seen and heard. It’s a valuable resource no one should live without.

Pre-Paid Legal Plan

What an OPPORTUNITY!
You can become the owner of a Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. Family plan membership and also become a Pre-Paid Fast Start Associate for only $99.00.
That is $17.00 per month for the membership and a one time $10.00 enrollment fee and the balance of the $99.00 special package earns you the right to become a Pre-Paid Legal Fast Start associate and earn a lifetime income marketing the Pre-Paid membership.
The best part of this, you can get in now on the pre-launch of the Blastoff program. Between now and October 12th, the ONLY people who can secure a blastoff account are Pre-Paid Legal Associates. (If you're not already familiar with what Blastoff is, download or watch this video - Windows Media File download or Quicktime Video.) Normally, this would cost $249 for the Fast Start Associate fee, PLUS the membership. But, during this pre-launch period, you can get access to the Blastoff opportunity early for as little as $99.00, which includes your first month Pre-Paid Legal membership fee. This positions you in a "ground floor" opportunity for the explosion.
Pre-Paid Legal pays you two different ways. Be sure to select your preference regarding how you would like to receive your Pre-Paid Legal income. Would you rather receive direct deposits or would you prefer we send you checks?
