Pre-Paid Legal Services

December is the best time of the year to recruit people for your team in Pre-Paid Legal. During the holidays, people realize quite bluntly what their financial situation is, and they look forward to changing it with their upcoming New Year?s resolutions. What we have found is they would rather not wait . . .and that the top earners in PPL have figured this out. If you ask any Ring Earner, they will say they have stepped up their recruiting in December each year, and gained momentum in their business growth. December is half over, but there is time to step yours up! Brian Carruthers is a great example of this. He says he always worked hard up until Christmas day grabbing all the recruits he could so he would go into the new year with momentum and have a head start on everyone. And this is one of the reasons he feels he earns over a million dollars a year with PPL. Brian challenged every Associate this month to go for it, and to try to do what he does by getting at least FIVE recruits themselves in December for the month. ("I got my 5 Club" - names of those who did it so far listed on Pre-Paid Legal website) "What could 5 new recruits mean to your business?" was asked of Brian. His answer "Knowing that you may be just one good recruit away from a financial explosion, and that recruit may be your next, or the second, or the fifth . . . getting some new people on board is critical. By recruiting in waves, not only can you dangle the carrot and build depth with five people in that line - which causes excitement, but having multiple people joining at once gives you the position of strength where you don?t come across like you NEED your one recruit. It causes action, and that brings results." Brian also says to think about a simple idea that "if you can recruit three key stars (in 3 separate legs), you can be set for life. If you have 3 legs with a super leader in each, each making their full time living as an ED or above in Pre-Paid Legal . . . you would be Gold ED and you could maintain a super lifestyle with that! So your intent from day one should be to recruit, recruit, recruit to build your team until you find these three leaders. Then develop them until solid . . .until you are set for life!" It all starts with right now. Set a simple goal of just five new recruits this month and get on the "I GOT MY 5" list. Anyone can, everyone should. At $72, it will never be easier! Just hold a meeting, invite to briefings, follow up on the DVD?s, and do 3-way calls. You can, will you?

What would happen if something suddenly happened to you

Who Will Take Care of Your Favorite Things?
Do you have an heirloom that you want to keep in the family? Are you a pet owner? What would happen to your favorite things if something suddenly happened to you?
These can be thought-provoking questions to ask during discussions with prospective members. Are they wondering how the benefits of Pre-Paid Legal plans are relevant to their lives when it comes to taking care of their treasured pets, people, places and things?
You can remind them that if they don’t have an executed Will, according to the American Bar Association (ABA), a state’s law of descent and distribution can determine who receives the property by default, meaning items may not end up with a recipient of their choosing.
An executed Will provides for the desired distribution of property at the time of the owner’s death. This is subject to the forced headship laws of some states that prevent disinheriting a spouse and in some cases, children. A Will cannot govern the disposition of properties that pass outside a probated estate (such as certain joint property, life insurance, retirement plans and employee death benefits) unless they are payable to the deceased person’s estate.
As you can see, creating and finalizing a Will can be confusing and complicated. The preparation of a Will by a qualified attorney - instead of depending on an office supply store kit or a forms website - can be extremely beneficial and make the process understandable.
If your prospective member has children, in addition to letting any final wishes be known, there are other objectives that can be accomplished in a Will. The person can designate a guardian for any minor child(ren) if he or she has survived the other parent and potentially eliminate the need for bonds and supervision by the court regarding the care of each minor child’s estate. Guardianship of a beloved pet can also be decided in a Will.
Finally, you can remind them that a Pre-Paid Legal membership includes preparation of a Will and an annual review at no additional cost. A spouse can have a Will prepared for a small additional cost.
Our Provider Law Firms are ready to help ensure a Pre-Paid Legal member’s final wishes are both seen and heard. It’s a valuable resource no one should live without.

Pre-Paid Legal Plan

What an OPPORTUNITY!
You can become the owner of a Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. Family plan membership and also become a Pre-Paid Fast Start Associate for only $99.00.
That is $17.00 per month for the membership and a one time $10.00 enrollment fee and the balance of the $99.00 special package earns you the right to become a Pre-Paid Legal Fast Start associate and earn a lifetime income marketing the Pre-Paid membership.
The best part of this, you can get in now on the pre-launch of the Blastoff program. Between now and October 12th, the ONLY people who can secure a blastoff account are Pre-Paid Legal Associates. (If you're not already familiar with what Blastoff is, download or watch this video - Windows Media File download or Quicktime Video.) Normally, this would cost $249 for the Fast Start Associate fee, PLUS the membership. But, during this pre-launch period, you can get access to the Blastoff opportunity early for as little as $99.00, which includes your first month Pre-Paid Legal membership fee. This positions you in a "ground floor" opportunity for the explosion.
Pre-Paid Legal pays you two different ways. Be sure to select your preference regarding how you would like to receive your Pre-Paid Legal income. Would you rather receive direct deposits or would you prefer we send you checks?

A Productive Perk

Why offering a prepaid legal plan with your company’s benefits package pays off for employees--and for you A prepaid legal plan is just what it sounds like: an arrangement that gives an employee access to the services of an attorney for a wide range of legal needs. Depending on the type of plan, the possibilities range from assistance in creating a will to contract negotiation to representation in divorce proceedings or for a major trial.
The number of employers offering prepaid legal plans to their employers is growing, but right now, it’s still pretty small. According to the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ Employee Benefits Survey: U.S. and Canada 2009, about a quarter of respondents say they offer a legal services plan to their participants. The Society for Human Resource Management conducted a similar employee benefits survey and found that about 21 percent offer legal services.
The benefit to the employees is fairly straightforward. "It gives people access to the legal system," says Nick Serba of Pre-Paid Legal Services. "Most people are priced out of the legal system. They can’t afford it, or they don’t know someone who can help them."
Terry Perry, owner of PinkSlip, a three-person company in San Jose, Calif., was grateful for her company’s prepaid legal plan two years ago when she received a speeding ticket while out of town. She called and received an attorney’s assistance to get it settled quickly.
"The benefit is fantastic for those sorts of things," says Perry, who has offered the plan as a benefit to her employees for three years.
So what’s the payoff for employers? Studies have shown that employees who are satisfied with their benefits tend to be more satisfied with their jobs in general. Proponents of prepaid legal plan benefits say access to legal services tends to reduce employee absenteeism because employees can get the services they need. They don’t need to miss work to sort out their legal affairs.
"It keeps the employees in a more productive mode," Serba says.
It can be useful, Perry agrees, but she notes that some people may be reluctant to spend any additional money right now.
"I know people are cautious about how they’re spending their money," says Perry, who asks her employees to pay for this particular benefit if they want to use it.
The cost of offering this service varies, depending on which plan and administrator you choose. The American Prepaid Legal Services Institute estimates that the cost can range from $70 per year per employee to as much as $400 per year.

Blastoff members

As we move forward to the public launch of Blastoff, it has been decided to increase the enrollment period for existing Pre-Paid Legal Associates. Active Pre-Paid Legal Associates now have through October 11, 2009, 11:59 PM to activate their free Blastoff account and to sponsor new Associates who can then set up their own Blastoff accounts. Then, beginning at 12:00 AM, Midnight on October 12th, PPL Associates will have their two week EXCLUSIVE marketing window. No new Blastoff accounts will be created unless the introduction came through an Associate! Meaning, no new Blastoff accounts are created outside of the PPL/Blastoff Organization! We do want to clarify that individuals joining during the second phase can join Blastoff through a PPL Associate and can then also send invites and have others join who are not associates. And then, beginning at 12:00 AM, Midnight on October 26th Blastoff will go live to other groups across the United States and Canada. And, with the time extensions above you will have had the opportunity to have already built a huge Blastoff organization and you'll be creating massive awareness for Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. with your new group of non-PPL Blastoff members!Take advantage of this additional time to contact your Associates and get them to activate their Blastoff account. And, be sure your new recruits are also taking the time to activate their Blastoff accounts that become available to them 72 hours after their Pre-Paid Legal Associate Agreement has been processed. Don't forget to take advantage of the $99 special that is available right now for your new Associates with a membership as well as the Director bonus. Month end is just around the corner and you want to be sure you continue your August momentum and push yourself as high into the commission structure as possible.

Eight tips for how money CAN buy you happiness

The relationship between money and happiness is one of the most interesting, most complicated, and most sensitive questions in the study of happiness.
Studies show, unsurprisingly, that money’s impact on happiness is greatest when you have the least amount of money.
But if you’re one of the lucky people who has enough money to cover the basics – food, shelter, even a car -- does that mean that money can’t make a difference to your happiness? Some happiness experts argue yes, but I think that’s…ridiculous.
The secret to using money to buy happiness is to spend money in ways that support your happiness goals.
Imagine that you have a certain amount of extra cash. How should you spend it?
One option: a fancy new TV set. Enticing. The fact is, however, that the new TV won’t give you much happiness bang for your buck. The hedonic treadmill describes our tendency to adapt quickly to changed circumstances -- which means you’ll get a big kick out of the TV for a short while, but you’ll soon take it for granted.
The hedonic treadmill means that buying STUFF isn’t very satisfying, but there are ways to spend money that are likely to help give you enduring happiness. Spend money to…
1. Strengthen bonds with family and friends. Studies show that having close relationships is one of the most important elements of a happy life. Pay for a plane ticket to visit your brother’s new baby, go to your college reunion, throw a Superbowl party.
2. End marital conflict. If you’re constantly arguing about the unkempt lawn, or the moldering laundry, see if you can throw some money at the problem. Can you hire the teenager down the street to clean out the garage?
3. Upgrade your exercise. Studies show that one of the quickest and surest ways to boost your mood is to exercise. If spending money on a new iPod, a more convenient gym, or a new pair of yoga pants will make it easier to get yourself off the couch, that's a good happiness investment.
4. Think about fun. Ask yourself – and be honest – what’s fun for you? Fishing, bird-watching, travel, hunting through flea markets, experimenting in the kitchen, skiing, scrapbooking? Make sure that your calendar reflects some activities that you are doing just for FUN. For happiness, you’re better off using your money to have a great experience than to gain a possession.
5. Serenity and security. Peace of mind is critical to happiness, so use the money to pay down your debts or to add to your savings.
6. Pay more for healthy food. It’s a sad fact that fruits, vegetables, and healthy food are more expensive than fast food, but eating healthfully will pay off in the long run, in terms of your good health and energy.
7. Spend the money on someone else. One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make someone else happy. Think about ways you could spend the money that would make a big difference to someone else -- whether someone you know, or a cause you support. How many new books could the library's children's room add to the shelves?
8. Think about YOUR priorities. Two years ago, some friends decided to skip an anniversary trip so they could use the money to buy a super-expensive Dux bed. I thought this was a bad idea, because the “hedonic treadmill” would mean that they’d quickly get used to the new bed. Oh, no. They still rave about their Dux bed. So maybe that fancy new TV set would mean a lot to you, although I, for one, would hardly notice the difference. As always, the key to any happiness question is to know yourself, and what makes YOU happy

6 Signs Your Job May Be in Jeopardy

If you're worried that the daily dose of bad news about the economy could impact your next paycheck, you're not alone.
More than 2 of 3 respondents to a recent Yahoo! poll believe their job is in jeopardy due to the current economic slowdown.
While you never can be completely prepared to lose your livelihood, there are certain signs that may indicate that your job could be at risk.
Your Performance Assessment
First, ask yourself some tough questions about your role at work, recommends business coach and author Mary Key. Your answers will provide good indicators.
The questions include: What would be the impact of your departure? What kind of ROI (return on investment) is your employer getting from your performance? Have you gotten positive reviews? Do you get along with coworkers? Can your skills translate to other positions within the firm?
"If you are unsure of the answers to these questions, or if you have some responses that might be negative, your job may be on the chopping block in a downturn," says Key, who heads the leadership practice for i4cp, The Institute for Corporate Productivity, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Time's Not on Your Side
Having extra time for two-hour lunches, marathon computer games, and multiple instant-message chats with loved ones doesn't bode well for a long future in your current position.
"If you were once a busy professional and now work is being taken away and given to someone else, or you're not being assigned new work, you should start asking some questions," says life and career coach Annemarie Segaric.
Where Have All the Clients Gone?
If the new business team seems to be spinning its wheels, as major clients jump ship and they are not replaced, your job could be on the hit list.
"There is only so long that your boss can be giving you busy work," says Roberta Chinsky Matuson, president of Northampton, Massachusetts-based Human Resource Solutions. "Eventually, his boss will catch on, and it will be time to go."
Experienced Workers Need Not Apply
Warning: Your company starts posting openings for entry-level workers, without announcing new initiatives or experiencing a mass exodus of employees.
"This is a clear sign that they are trying to cut payroll costs by hiring less experienced people," Matuson says. "It won't be long before you receive the pink slip."
The Risk of Mergers
If bad times drive your company to merge with a rival, start polishing your resume, advises Kevin Steele, president of The Winter, Wyman Companies.
"In almost all cases, there are many employees whose job responsibilities are duplicated by someone at the acquiring company, and, in an effort to cut costs and maximize ROI, the acquiring company will usually move quickly to eliminate the overlap," Steele says.
Friends in Similar Places
When friends or others you know who have equivalent jobs in the same or a related industry begin to suffer layoffs, know that you could be next.
"Layoffs happen in waves," says Segaric, author of "107 Tips for Changing Your Career While Still Paying the Bills." "What goes on in other companies can be used as a barometer for what is happening in the industry as a whole."

Business Networking for Website Traffic

Social Media and Business Networking for Website Traffic
By Peyman Aleagha

RISMEDIA, April 1, 2009-It’s interesting how many real estate professionals haven’t made the leap to social and business networking on the Web, especially considering how ingrained the old styles of networking are in their business plans. They join local civic groups, go to meetings, sponsor events and groups, and more. The goal being to not only help their community, but to meet people to build that “sphere of influence” that ultimately leads to future business.
How many hands can they shake? How many meetings can they attend? What’s the cost to sponsor groups, and what’s the membership they impact? These are all questions that illustrate the limiting nature of personal involvement at the local level. Once you realize that Internet social and business networking is exactly the same, but leveraged dramatically, you can get really excited about it. After all, can someone in Oregon see what you’re doing in Florida? They can if they are part of your sphere of influence on Facebook or LinkedIn.
Let’s take a look at the two dominant networks - Facebook and LinkedIn, and at the facets of these sites that can have a positive impact on your website’s traffic, and ultimately bring you a great deal of business. The positive aspects of these sites are exactly the same, though there are differences in how they help you accomplish success and the makeup of the membership.
Facebook is more social, while LinkedIn is very business-to-business oriented. However, Facebook is showing very strong growth, and many business people are finding it to be an excellent resource. You’ll connect with far more consumers on Facebook than you will on LinkedIn, but the business connections you make on LinkedIn can lead to referrals that leverage the value of your contacts.
Both Facebook and LinkedIn allow you to place your personal and business profile for all the world to see. Accomplishments, awards, education, specialized training, and business goals are laid out for everyone to view.
Spending just a few minutes online gives you ample time to ask or answer questions and interact with people from all parts of the country and the world. Your direct contacts have their own direct contacts, creating a possible sphere of influence far greater than any you could develop locally via personal interaction.
A referral or recommendation is much easier, thus you can get more of them. Your direct contacts can recommend you to someone else with a few keystrokes, with no letter or personal meeting required. LinkedIn formalizes the process of expanding one’s sphere of influence more than Facebook. On LinkedIn, there are formalized recommendation formats that can be keyed to your specific areas of expertise. Let’s say that you work both residential and commercial real estate. You can have those two segments of your profile, each with recommendations specific to that expertise.
Both sites allow the sending of questions, but again, LinkedIn has formalized the process more. A question, once answered by all who are interested, can be closed out, and a best answer and good answer selected. The person who supplied the answer builds “expertise credit” in the category. In other words, if you are answering real estate related questions, best and good answers get you more visibility in that category, which creates the possibility for future business.
While listings are all local, as that’s where the homes are that you service, buyers are world-wide. You can network locally for listings, but people moving into your area from afar have no way to know who you are unless they find you somehow. With almost 90% of prospective homebuyers now using the Internet to search for real estate, these networks are one way in which they can locate you.
Feed your site information to the networks with RSS feeds. Both of these sites have ways in which you can have your site content show up automatically once published, allowing you to write it once, and the information will display in multiple places. It’s a personal form of the syndication that news organizations have used for many years.
Examples of more focused networking are RealTown and ActiveRain. The real estate and mortgage professionals who participate on these sites are able to share information, as well as refer business. ActiveRain’s new Listing Router tool allows participating sites to receive leads from other ActiveRain sites around the country.
These networking sites are powerful exposure tools, and you simply can’t overlook them in planning for the future. In all of your entries and interactions on these sites, you’re placing links back to your website, and when you can, to specific pages or posts that answer specific questions. This builds credibility, but also site traffic. And, it’s coming from sources that are real estate related, as that’s the way you’ve set up your profiles.

100-1 shot wins

LIVERPOOL, England (AP)—Mon Mome, a 100-1 shot, won the Grand National at Aintree by 12 lengths Saturday, with the world’s most famous steeplechase again marred by a horse death.
Mon Mome was ridden by Liam Treadwell over the grueling 4 1/2 miles. The 9-year-old matched Foinavon in 1967 as the biggest long shot to win this race.
Hear The Echo collapsed and died a few hundred yards from the finish. He was the fifth horse to die this year in the three-day meet. Butler’s Cabin, one of the pre-race favorite, also collapsed and had to be given oxygen.
Last year, a horse had to be put down after it unseated the jockey, then crashed into a barrier. Not counting Saturday’s race, the British charity Animal Aid has determined that a dozen horses have died during the Grand National.
Forty horses started the 162nd running of the race, which was delayed by two false starts. The winner pulled away after jumping the last of the 30 fences. Comply or Die, a 14-1 shot who won last year, was second. My Will finished third, ahead of State of Play.
“I had the perfect run through the race,” Treadwell said. “He jumped brilliant for me. … He gave me such a great ride. He was an absolute pleasure to ride. He is so genuine.”
Mon Mome, 10th last year, is trained by Venetia Williams, whose career as an amateur jockey ended shortly after falling in the 1988 Grand National. Williams became only the second woman after 1983 and 1995 winner Jenny Pitman to train a National winner.
“It was just unbelievable,” Williams said. “The owner was watching the wrong horse for the first part of the race and she thought it was out the back. I’m so proud of the horse. I’m so proud of Liam for giving him such a good ride.”

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and I noticed a distinct slowdown in the overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as
Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as
NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.
Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed, Desperate

DEAR DESPERATE, First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying a dditional software to improve memory and performance.
We recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck Babe!

Bargains Abound

Getaways- Bargains Abound - Deals May Be Best during Recession

Your household budget screams, “No, no, no,” but the alluring deals gently whisper, “Yes, yes, yes.” While the current economy has most Americans working harder than ever, the word ‘vacation’ has become a concept that to most is no longer imaginable. But the constant doom and gloom has forced many popular tourist attractions to go to extremes to get the world moving again.
Now may be the time for gutsy travelers, the ones who don’t know whether they’ll have jobs tomorrow, but can surrender to the temptation of bargains offered by airlines, hotels, cruise ships and amusement parks to escape reality and sit back and relax.
“There hasn’t been a time like this to book a really good deal in a long time,” said Katie Deines, spokeswoman for the online travel agency Expedia.
With the economy in the tank, the tourism industry wants you to travel, even when spending makes most people queasy.
Hotel rates are down 14% in vacation hot spots such as Orlando and 34% in Las Vegas, according to Expedia.
Popular tourist hot spot Walt Disney World in Orlando has gone as far as giving visitors three nights with free tickets if they buy a four-night package, while Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo., has put together tourist packages that give you two days’ admission for the price of one.
And the deals keep coming.
Dow Jones reported that passenger traffic on U.S. airlines was down much more than expected in February, leading airlines such as Southwest to begin offering sales for summer travel. “The airlines are trying to get people off their seats, onto their computers, buying tickets,” said Rick Seaney, chief executive officer at FareCompare.com. “The problem is: Do they have the money to travel? Or the willpower?”
Sudeikis added that there are deals to be found on cruise ships, too. Some are offering credits of $500 or more for travelers to spend on cruise amenities such as spas or tours at various ports of call.
But Sudeikis does have a word of caution. The attractive prices are a moving target and can change from day to day. Some deals, she said, are good only for limited periods.
The wave of discounting comes from a distressed tourism industry trying to win over consumers rattled by the economy.
A recent USA Today/Gallup poll revealed that nearly 60% of typical yearly vacationers will reduce their travel spending this year. “There’s kind of this overhang of pessimism,” said James Fisher, a consumer spending and marketing expert at St. Louis University.
Leisure trips fell 1.3% last year and are expected to decline 2.2% more this year, according to a study by consultants at IHS Global Insight and D.K. Shifflet & Associates. Overall travel spending is projected to be down 8.3% in 2009.
“It’s going to be a tough year,” said Jennifer Fuller, a principal at Global Insight. Fuller said she didn’t expect many Americans to spend extra money they receive from stimulus tax cuts on travel, and the tourism industry is working hard to trump the fear.
The overall cost of travel was down 6% in January compared with the same time last year, according to the Travel Industry Association of America’s travel price index. A lot of that decline was driven by a 40% drop in fuel prices on the index. Airfares were down about 1%.
Fuller warned that bargains would only go so far to help the travel industry survive.
Check out how you can make some extra money.

Hey, first-time homebuyer: How does $8,000 from your Uncle Sam sound?

Want an extra $8,000? If you’re a first-time homebuyer then we have a nice surprise for you.

Last fall, the Federal Government introduced a financial incentive to prospective first-time homebuyers — an income tax credit of up to $7,500. The rules were simple: you must have been a first-time homebuyer (as defined by not owning a home in the previous three years) and you met certain income restrictions.
The new $8,000 tax credit is available to those who buy between January 1, 2009 and December 1, 2009. It’s not a deduction, it’s an actual credit. Unlike the $7,500 first-time homebuyer tax credit introduced last summer; this does not need to be repaid.
First timers who qualify can make no more than $75,000 in adjusted gross income if they’re single or $150,000 if filing jointly. The maximum tax credit is $8,000 or 10 percent of the sales price of the home, whichever is less. Three years residence in the property are required. As always, check with your accountant for details and be sure to submit IRS form 5405 when you file your taxes.

N2A

N2A stands for No Two Alike.
They’re an unconventional car company - a coach company, if you please. They customize or rebuild cars. The 789, shown above, is currently their most talked about product.
It’s named after the three Chevy model years from which it draws inspiration: 1957, 1958 and 1959. I’m told it’s built from the ground up onto a Corvette platform.
You can drive away in your very own 789 for about $135,000.
I think its a brilliant idea.

Does your computer take forever to load programs

Does your computer take forever to load programs or change pages when you’re surfing the Internet? Have you ever been in the middle of writing an e-mail and it freezes, forcing you to reboot and lose all your work? Get Your Computer Back in the Fast Lane. There are few things more frustrating than a slow computer, but it doesn’t need to be that way.
Having a professional look at your system can be costly and buying a new computer is often unnecessary. There are some steps that you can follow to keep your system running at its best.
1) Limit open programs and windows. If you have too many Internet windows open or are working with a variety of computer programs at once, your computer might run slowly. Limit open programs and windows to maximize your computer speed
.2) When in doubt, reboot.Sometimes there are things we just can’t explain with computers. If yours is running slow, try rebooting. Often this is all the system needs to begin functioning at a normal pace again. Although many programs have automatic retrieval of work, it’s a smart idea to always save what you are working on before shutting down.
3) Use a registry cleaner.Even if you're extremely careful about how you use your computer and never download questionable material, over time it is inevitable that your system will accumulate unwanted registry entries, errors, clutter and debris.
The most common causes are the installation and removal of software, online games, application crashes and upgrades of software programs. While many errors will go unnoticed, the more errors your computer has, the greater the chance that you'll experience trouble. But there is something proactive you can do to protect your system: install a one-click tool called Advanced Registry Optimizer 5 (ARO 5) that will scan, identify and repair errors.
Advanced Registry Optimizer 5 was awarded 4 stars in May 2007 from CNET's Download.com editorial staff: 'Advanced Registry Optimizer will clean your computer's clock and keep it ticking.' Still not convinced? Sammsoft, a Washington State software company, offers free trials of their ARO 5 software people can use to check their systems for errors.Once the download is complete, just click the 'Run' button to install ARO 5. Once installed, the program will do a complete scan and diagnosis of your computer's registry and tell you how many errors are present. It will then fix the first 20 problems completely free of charge.
There's no catch. The company is confident you'll love the personal version of ARO 5 so much you'll consider purchasing the unlimited commercial system which retails for $29.95.
